Design and production of tire recycling lines
What does the tire recycling plant provide?
As the production and use of automobile tires increases, so does the need for effective and affordable technologies for their processing.
Shredding end-of-life tires prepares scrap tires for recycling. It also gives businesses the opportunity to make money from scrap rubber. Shredding and recycling provides an affordable and efficient way to manage scrap rubber of all types. It also helps reduce rubber waste overall.
Car tires can be reused in many ways.
In this connection HYDROIONICS LTD. offers the construction of a plant for the separation of these raw materials and their reuse in industry. New products derived from waste tires generate greater economic activity while reducing the waste stream without generating pollution and emissions from recycling.
We are ISO 9001 certified!
All of our machines are designed and manufactured in our European base, which gives us the ability to guarantee the quality of each product.
In addition, we offer installation and maintenance services for every line purchased from us.
When recycling tires, three fractions are separated: rubber, textile thread, and metal threads. Each of these products can find subsequent applications.
Using the fractions that the tire recycling line provides:
- Besides fuel, the primary end use of tires remains crumb rubber. Crumb rubber, also known as crumb rubber, can be used in paving projects. These types of paving include: rubber-modified asphalt and as an aggregate replacement. Examples of molded rubber products include: carpet underlayment, flooring materials, dock bumpers, deck buffers, railroad crossing blocks, sidewalks, and rubber tiles. Playgrounds and recreational areas can also be paved with shock-absorbing molded rubber. Crumb rubber can also be used as infill, either alone or mixed with coarse sand, and as infill for grass-like synthetic turf products. Tires are also often recycled for use as basketball court surfacing and new footwear products.
- Another component of the tire during recycling is the textile thread. It could be spun again. Another application of the thread is its use as insulation wool.
- The third product that is separated from the recycling of car tires is the metal threads - high-quality steel. They are subject to melting, and then the metal could be used in many ways, mainly for
production of new metal products.
Description of the tire shredding line
The installation consists of the following facilities:
1. Conveyor belt
2. Two-shaft shredder
3. Conveyor belt
4. Disc sieve
5. Conveyor belt
6. Conveyor belt
7. Single shaft shredder
8. Conveyor belt
9. Magnetic separator
10. Vibrating screen
11. Auger
12. Auger
13. Auger
14. Dust removal system
15. Bag rack
Production technology and organization:
- The car tires are placed manually on a conveyor belt (pos. 1). From there, the tires enter a two-shaft shredder (pos. 2). The ground material, which has dimensions of 50/250mm, falls into a conveyor belt (pos. 3). It unloads this material onto a disc screen (pos. 4). The coarse fraction with dimensions of 50/100mm and over 100mm is unloaded onto a conveyor belt (pos. 5), which returns it to the shredder (pos. 2) for further shredding.
- Below the disc screen, the material falls onto a conveyor belt (pos. 6) and is transported to a single-shaft shredder (pos. 7). There, the rubber-metal pieces are ground and fall onto a conveyor belt (pos. 8). The material is unloaded onto the vibrating screen (pos. 10). A magnetic separator (pos. 9) is located on the vibrating screen. It separates the wire pieces from the molten material flow. Above the vibrating screen are located
suction nozzles that suck the thread and transport it to a cyclone that settles it in a BIG-BAG bag (pos.15). The transport air is filtered in bag filters (pos.14). - The material from the vibrating screen is divided into three, depending on the size, by means of augers.
(pos.11, pos.12, pos.13) and is collected in BIG-BAG bags (pos.15)
Pos.11- rubber fraction with a size of 0 to 2mm
Pos.12- rubber fraction with a size of 2 to 4mm
Pos.13- rubber fraction with a size of 4 to 15mm
The total capacity of the installation is 450-500 kg per hour, which can be doubled by adding an additional shredder to the production line.
